Dictionary of Sydney: Margaret Fulton

This week on Dictionary of Sydney, Lisa Murray tells us about the late Australian icon and cooking legend, Margaret Fulton. The Margaret Fulton Cookbook of 1968 inspired a generation of Aussies to pick up the wooden spoon and learn how to cook. In 1983, Fulton was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia.

Australia’s first celebrity chef passed away on 24 July 2019, but her legacy lives on.
