Dog People plays at the IPAC Wollongong
If CATS The Musical does so well, there should be one for the loyal doggo. There’s no loyalty like it, and this new musical knows it. Dog People explores love, loyalty and loss. It questions what it is to be human, and that perhaps people aren’t that different from dogs after all.
By playwright and songwriter Lucy Heffernan, Dog People is packed with alt rock, pop, and love ballads with 10 original songs you can howl to. Presented by Merrigong X, it plays at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC) in Wollongong from the 19th – 21st June. He puts the ‘people’ in Dog People… (unless he plays a dog)… actor Geoff Morrell chats with Danny Chifley on the 2SER Breakfast Show.
