Dr. Google? What Sites Can Parents Trust?

When our children and the younger people in our lives starting getting a sick, it’s coming to pull your phone out of your pocket and start searching. But this information we find isn’t  something we are following up on. New research from The University of Sydney says 88% of parents are going online before going to the GP but just 47% of parents are sharing what they found online with their doctor. Why are parents so reluctant to share information off the internet with medical professionals. Well, it mostly likely has to do with what misconceptions we have about medical websites. Dr Karen Scott joined us to talk about what websites we can trust.
