The Power of the Female Vote 💪 – Scott Morrison’s campaign strategy, focusing on the young male ‘tradie’ vote seemed to miss the mark, losing the 2022 Federal Election

Unsurprisingly the big winners in election were the teal independents including:

• Melbourne – Zoe Daniel & Monique Ryan
• Sydney – Zali Stegall, Sophie Scamps, Kylea Tink & Allegra Spender
• Perth – Kate Chaney

FINA & Trans Athletes 🏳️‍⚧️ – Whilst FINA continue their ban of who has been through male puberty from elite women’s competitions, not everyone has followed their lead

Unlike FINA & the International Rugby League, World Triathlon has voted to allow transgender women to keep competing in the female category

Roe v. Wade ⚖️ – the US Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, the landmark 1973 decision that found there was a constitutional right to abortion. Abortion regulation has now been returned to the individual states.

“As a woman, as a mother, as a grandmother, to see young girls now have fewer rights than their moms or even their grandmothers, is something very sad for our  country” – Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the United States House of Representatives on the overturn.

Memefication of Violence 💻 – Unsealed records raised through thousands in donations from Depp’s loyal fans, have backfired revealing troubling new evidence.
