Annie Gibbins

Growing up in a family of pharmacists, Annie always had prospects of working somewhere in the health, but never anticipated it would get her where she is now.

Annie is the CEO of the Australasian Institute of Ultrasound, a facility that offers training programs for medical professionals on how to operate ultrasound equipment.

Annie also worked as a nurse for a number of years and says in her current role has been able to combine her love for public health and teaching.

Looking back to her high school years, our first question for Annie was why she didn’t pursue a career in pharmacy like her parents.

And the answer Annie gave, wasn’t one we were expecting.
