Stephen O’Doherty

14 years is a long time to spend in one career, but for Stephen O’Doherty, being CEO of Christian Schools Australia is a passion and a purpose.

Stephen studied Communications at UTS before branching out into radio, and was presenting his own program on Sydney’s 2GB by the time he was 22.

He’s also been a politician, and during his time working for the Liberal Party Stephen was the shadow minister for Education and shadow Treasurer.

During his time at 2GB, Stephen became involved in the Church at the encouragement of his future wife. Ellen Leabeater chats to Stephen about his various careers, and the role faith has played throughout his life.
