Peta Tait

Peta Tait has an extensive history in performance both on and off the stage.

With initial interests in acting, Peta has gone on to playwright as well as publish a number of non-fiction books about the world of circus performance.

These books detail some fascinating stories of animals in the circus and their major role in performance throughout history.

Currently, Peta’s main line of work is as a Professor of Theatre and Drama at La Trobe University.

Peta says this has allowed her to keep a firm foot in the world of dramatic arts, which is one that she’s always loved.
