Marina Brizar

Marina Brizar was born in Sarajevo in Bosnia, and was three when the Balkan Civil War broke out.

While she grew up here in Australia, her family’s refugee experience has shaped Marina’s view on the world and her work.

After completing a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of International Studies at the University of Technology Sydney, she set out to become an Immigration Advisor, and went on to win awards for her work.

Now she is a Registered Migration Agent with Playfair Visa and Migration Services and has also co-founded a foundation to support students seeking asylum in Australia.
