Mark Wilson

Mark has 32 years under his belt serving the Royal Australian Navy, which is something he wears proudly.

He has worked in a number of roles over the years serving the navy, but currently works as a Fleet Standards Training Officer.

Also during his service, Mark completed a Masters in Adult Education at the University of Technology Sydney, something he says opened up a whole other chapter to his work life.

Mark only speaks positively of his time in the service, but as you’re about to hear, it hasn’t always been easy.

One of his most memorable and challenging moments happened two years ago, when he was deployed to South Sudan.
