Saturday 6th May: Matt Cornell is FINALLY in the studio this week. We’ll celebrate his music and look at his new CD ‘My Soundtrack’. This is Matt’s fourth record and second country release. ‘My Soundtrack’, cements who he is as an artist and as a person. The multi-instrumentalist wrote most of the album, with his co-writers, in two months.

We’ll ahead across to NewYork where Award winning singer-songwriter, Amber Lawrence, performed a new song ‘100 Year Handshake’ celebrating mateship for Australian Prime Minister, President of the USA and surviving war veterans at gala dinner event commemorating the 75th Anniversary Battle of the Coral Sea. Whilst back home her 3rd single/video ‘The Lucky Ones’ has been released from Happy Ever After’.

Golden Guitar winner Lyn Bowtell has auditioned for The Voice 2017 and her “blind audition” goes to air this Sunday, May 7. We’ll chat to the multi talented star and find out why she’s putting her self out there and does this mean a change of music direction.
One of Australia’s most influential and most awarded acts, Davidson Brothers released their 8th studio album, ‘All You Need Is Music’ last month. ‘Take A Little Drive’, was the first taste of the duo’s new album released in March. There’s no better way to learn about the Davidson Brothers than to hear it directly from them. So we’ll chat to Lachlan about the new release and how they are ‘taking that drive out to promote the new release.

2016 Toyota Star Maker winner Karin Page launched her catchy new single ‘Still Got You’ with an East Coast Australia tour. The 18-date tour takes Karin through Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and ACT in April and May. Karin’s blend of country, blues and roots hits Sydney this week on May 12 is at ‘The Acoustic Picnic’ at The Music Lounge at Brookvale then into Newcastle next Saturday and Rooty Hill RSL Club on Sunday 13th May with Seleen McAlister.

The Jay Seeney Band is one of Australia’s most energetic and exciting young talents. Playing by their own rules they have crashed the charts in the USA with their debut record ‘The New Black’ and are ready to introduce Australia to their new sound. Produced in Nashville by Grammy Award winner Jamie Tate. it is sure to win a brand new audience of fans. Jay Seeney chats to us about the first single. A duet entitled ‘Tread Gently’ with Hayley Jensen. Hayley has a distinguished career that took full flight when she emerged to make the top four on Australian Idol in 2004.

Plus we’ll ask the Gypsy Whitemoon; if we can squeeze in Patsy & David from The Long & Short of It to chat about their new single. Gypsy Whitemoon is the latest single release from The Long And Short Of It’s ARIA charting album, The Night Of Our Life. It is a moving mystical song infused with fiddle and piano-accordian which relays the story of a woman roaming the countryside leaving a trail of broken hearts behind for fear of commitment.
