Coming up this weekend on 2ser’s Curved Radio, we tag team live across the globe with Gayle Austin in Sydney, mr.K in Brisbane and with one of our curvy crewsters in Germany, the always fabulous, Rona Geffen. This week, Rona is sharing some very curvylicious beats that have been getting her movin’ and groovin’ from Gina Jeanz ft Jackie Queens & Lana Crowster, Ann Streichman & Senhora do O so get your dancin’ shoes on for this one, Curvies!

mr.K’s ‘Theme of the Week’ challenge suggested by not one, but TWO curvy supporters; UK based outfit, The Rotary Fifth and our friends from the Queer for Your Ears radio show on Eastside FM is a tricky one. One of the QFYEs boys suggested ‘bonobo’ and Mark from The Rotary Fifth came up with ‘monkeytennis’ so its a combined attempt to get all the tennis and monkeys out of our systems once and for all. Serving up a little Honey Cone, the legendary Carol Channing and a great track from young Singaporean math-rock outfit, Woes should fit the bill, yes? The Rotary Fifth have also shared an as yet to be released track from their forthcoming recording with us which we’ll play … so this is all very exciting! 

We also acknowledge the passing this week of Sylvain Sylvain, guitarist of the legendary New York Dolls. Gayle and mr.K will have a rave about the Dolls and share a few fave tracks from this trailblazing band.

Gayle has a fabulous set of music lined up to keep the curves curving between all this with tracks from Gus & the Invisibles , Purdy,  Lana Del Rey, Japan, Little Dragon & Moses Sumney, Mamer, Harry Nilsson, curvy fave Christine Ott and one from our cover star, Eartha Kitt and more so set your controls for Maximum Curve this Sunday!
