Yesterday I officially entered the “30s” phase of my life.
My back hurts, I’ve most likely fried off the top end of my hearing, and my collection of nu-metal cds elicits feelings of nostaglia.
But the local music scene still suprises me week after week, and I hope that in 10 years time when I’m still stubbornly refusing to listen to Spotify, that I’ll be actively seeking out and watching bands that are breaking down the stock perceptions of what music is.
