Our feature release on this episode is from 2014. It’s the first collaboration between Tomotsugu Nakamura and Darren McClure, under the Suisen moniker. After meeting at a 12k show in Tokyo, they struck up a friendship and decided to keep in touch and work on new material together.
Tomotsugu Nakamura is a sound artist based in Tokyo. His primary artistic practice is composing music by acoustic instruments, and field recordings. It is evaluated by world wide artists of different music genres.
Darren McClure is a sound artist living in Matsumoto, Japan. His music folds together electronics, drones and processed field recordings to create pieces of minimal, abstract ambience.
