Fight diabetes with a few simple steps
New research from the Edith Cowan University Medical and Health Science in Western Australia showed that walking down stairs reduce significantly diabetes. Programmed with 30 elderly obese women, one group walking down stairs the other one up stairs. Results prove among other a decrease of cholesterol. Other unexpected outcomes came through walking down has improve physical functions such as walking ability, balance and resting heart rates.
