Fingernail Sized Computer Chip To Better Support Australia’s NBN Network

A new study has unlocked a way to efficiently and economically expand Australia’s data infrastructure all through one small fingernail-sized computer chip. This chip can transmit data at three times the rate of Australia’s current NBN network runs at over 100 times the speed of any device across the country connected to the NBN network.

The Daily spoke about this exciting innovation and is Bill Corcoran, a lecturer and research fellow from Monash Universities Department of Electrical and Computer Systems Engineering.
