First Nations Australians disproportionately affected by cancer

First Nations Australians are up to 60% more likely to die from Cancer or complications caused by all types of the disease.

Despite the increased threat, changes to health practices could aid in Closing the Gap for Aboriginal people, improving treatment for what is the second largest cause of death within the community.

On World Cancer Day 2022, 2Ser Breakfast spoke to Sydney-based radiation oncologist, Dr Raghav Murali-Ganesh on what can be done, and a program helping to benefit patients post-treatment.
