Food Delivery Workers Unprotected During COVID

With the inability to go out and enjoy food at our favourite cafes, our only saviours are the food delivery agents who put their lives on the line during the pandemic. But are they given any incentive or appreciation for their risk?

While many front-line workers recognised by the world for their contribution during the pandemic, few have given much thought to agents working for various delivery services without any support from those organisations. They are not immune to the virus but still not provided with any equipment to protect themselves.

To talk about their situation, we were joined by Nick McIntosh, National Secretary of Transport Workers Union of Australia.
