On the show we have previously discussed the links between mental health and various other lifestyle factors such as exercise and music. But have you ever considered the possibility of a relationship between mental health, in particular depression, with the foods we consume each day? Worldwide, more than 300 million people live with depression so it’s important to understand just what can contribute to a healthy state of the mind. To provide insight into how exactly our diet can treat and prevent depression we spoke to Megan Lee, Academic Tutor and Lecturer at Southern Cross University.
