Gems & Johnny Cash: ‘Good Ramen’ Premiere Upcoming EP
Local garage trio Good Ramen have returned almost a year after their last release with the lead single, “Bite Marx”, off their new upcoming EP “Gem Based Magicks” out May 30. Recorded with Owen Pengilis, “Gem Based Magicks” captures the frantic and punchy sound of Good Ramen’s live shows by steering away from track-by-track recording, embodying the band’s chemistry in their live multi-tracked recording sessions. The result is a stunning selection of five gritty tracks that are fun and catchy, whilst packing a serious punch.
Good Ramen will be taking their EP on tour next month along the East Coast, kicking it off supporting Smallways at Chuck’s Trailer on May 31 before they headline Lazy Thinking on June 6th alongside L.A.R.M and Meow Meow and the Smackouts (tickets are $15 at the door).
