Gene-drive technology: What is too far?

The idea of mutating and editing genes in animals and humans has been around since the earliest sci-fi films and novels.

With advances in what is known as gene-drive technology, this is now becoming a reality.

Such technology can be huge for understanding in science but also to tackle medical problems. To discuss this we had Charles Robin from the School of Biosciences at the University of Melbourne.
