Glebe Connections with Brad Landy: Fostering community through journalism

For a while now, community journalism has struggled to keep up in an ever-changing media landscape. As local newspapers have gone out of print, online platforms and social media have tried, and failed, to fill the void. The new quarterly newspaper called Glebe Connections is a return to a more localised form of journalism, reflecting the diverse stories and perspectives of the Glebe community. Our producer Ollie speaks with Brad Landy, Creative Director of Glebe Connections, about the importance of fostering community through journalism.

Glebe Connections is a collaboration between Glebe Youth Service and the Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion at UTS, who both do fantastic work in the local community.
