Global Right Wing Extremism threat

With right-wing extremism becoming increasing popular, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres has warned that white supremacy and Neo Nazi movements are becoming a ‘transnational threat’, where the Coronavirus was used to encourage support. Now with the growing number of far-right extremists in Australia, these external movements represent the number one internal security threat in several countries. Guterres continued to discuss the deadly misinformation that has been amplified including by those in power during the Coronavirus. But how did the virus impact right-wing extremism? And how did it become such a fast growing threat?
