Government Tourism and Aviation Rescue Package Rollout

The new $1.2 billion dollar ticket to tourism and aviation rescue package has turned state against state in its mission to provide an estimated 800,000 subsidised airfares on 13 government-nominated routes and tourist destinations. Professor Gui Lohmann – Head of School of Engineering and Built Environment at Griffith University joined us earlier to discuss the implications and equity of the scheme.
