The end of Brisbane’s Covid-19 lockdown from midday Thursday brought much relief to the tourism sector but for many tourism operators it was already too late with traveller’s Easter holiday plans already cancelled.
The tourism industry says the package won’t assist travel agencies that have born the brunt of cancelled holidays over the last year, with the majority of packages being purchased online.
