Has the coronavirus paved a path for the resurfacing of racism?

Racism has had a long history across different countries. With increased awareness and strict laws, we can see a global dip in cases of harsh racism but is it a possibility that the coronavirus has led to the resurfacing of racism, seeing people from the Chinese and Asian region as carriers of the disease? Will this lead to racial seclusion and discrimination in the future? To talk more, we had with us Professor Luke McNamara, Professor and Co-Director of the Centre for Crime, Law and Justice in the Faculty of Law at the University of New South Wales.
