Imagine the delight of receiving birthday wishes inside a handmade card, crafted by someone who shares your birthday, but whom you’ve never met.

That’s the magic behind artist and architect Hikoko Ito’s joyous installation, Happy Birthday 2U2.

Hikoko Ito is a Hong Kong-based Japanese artist and architect, whose exhibition Happy Birthday 2U2  will be opening this weekend at the Art Gallery of New South Wales.

Hikoko joined Danny Chifley on 2SER Breakfast show to chat about the inspiration behind the interactive installation.

Hikoko’s exhibitions will be running from the 15th of march to the 17th of August.
