Hong Kong’s Polytechnic University Becomes a Fortress for HK Protesters

Hong Kong’s fight for freedom reached new heights earlier this week when police attempted to penetrate Hong Kong student’s make-shift fortress set up inside the Polytechnic University. Equipped with amateur catapults, bows and arrows and strategically placed Molotov cocktail stations, the students are ready for a fight and they aren’t backing down any time soon. But what does this fortress mean to the protesters of Hong Kong and why is it so important to protect it now?
