How Can We Keep Our Heath-care Workers Safe?

At the beginning of last month NSW hospital staff went on strike in an effort to highlight just how serious the issue of workplace violence has become for health-care workers. The strike has sparked discussions over what can be done to curb the issue. 

The Health Services Union has reportedly called for measures including 250 more security guards across the state to better protect workers. However, tackling the growing problems of violence in our hospitals is about more than increasing security numbers. We were joined by Lecturer in Nursing from the University of Technology Sydney.
