Climate change not only affects the environment around us, but now, the food we consume as well. Due to rainfall pattern changes and temperature increase, farmers and scientists are seeing changes in crops and ocean produce. Farmers work closely with the land and are dependent on the climate to produce food, but the unpredictable nature of the climate is affecting what we grow. Today Tess Connery from Breakfast spoke to Professor Richard Eckard from the University of Melbourne to discuss the type of changes that our fresh produce might be facing during these dire times.
