How Technology Can Save The Great Barrier Reef

A recent study shows how Australia could successfully intervene and help recover our very own wonder of the world, the Great Barrier Reef. The reef has recently experienced another significant mass bleaching event and unfortunately as we continue to feel the effects of climate change, more is expected. However, a new report shows how new and existing technologies could intervene and secure a future well beyond our years for the reef.

To tell us more about the findings of the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program Concept Feasibility Study and how technological innovations can serve to protect it, we were joined by Paul Hardisty, CEO of the Australian Institute of Marine Science.
