How Wiping can Help Koalas Avoid Wipeout

After bushfires, floods, and deforestation, Australia’s wildlife, especially koalas, have it harder than ever. To help the critters out, Zoos Victoria has stepped in with the “Wipe for Wildlife” program. The focus of this program is the production of recycled toilet paper. Made from post-consumer products such as textbooks and office paper, this initiative hopes to reduce deforestation and protect Australia’s unique wildlife.

Ben Sanders, senior manager at Zoos Victoria joined us on Drive to tell us all about the program.
