Human Rights in Australia
In 1948 on this day, the 10th of December, the UN proclaimed the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as a common standard of achievements for all people of all nations.
In our good nation, the good people at the Human Rights Law Centre work in partnership with people and communities to challenge Australian laws and policies which stand in the way of justice and equity for all.
Giving us inisight on the national Human Rights Act, the Federal Parliamentary Joint Committee and the plans for the future, Human Rights Law Centre’s Campaign Manager, Daney Faddoul joined Danny on the breakfast show.
