You may be familiar with the work of Claude Monet – the French impressionist artist – renowned for his oil impressions of lily pads and poppies, among other great work.

Well in a tribute to the famed artist, British filmmaker Phil Grabsky has featured over 100 of Monet’s iconic paintings in a visually-beautiful documentary called I, Claude Monet. Its authenticity is brought alive by the 3,000 surviving letters on which the film is based.

Known as the master of the ‘art on film’ genre, and boasting multiple awards to his name, Phil joined Thursday Drive to discuss.
