Insect Population Under Threat

It’s no secret that the global ecosystem is under threat and the underdog of the natural world, insects, are no exception.

This week, a group of more than 70 scientists from 21 countries are calling for action, publishing a ‘road map’ to insect conservation and recovery.

What does this roadmap say, and how can the decline of insect populations be reversed? Marlene Even spoke with Senior Lecturer in Zoology Dr Kate Umbers from Western Sydney University to find out more.
