Interview with an artist – Craig Handley
Each week on the Thursday Daily at 11:45am we profile an Australian artist – be they a sculptor, painter, dancer, writer – someone working in the creative sphere.
Craig Handley’s run up to painting was honed spending time as a sign writer, and an animator for some of the world’s leading studios. In 2004 he took the leap into painting and hasn’t looked back. Born and raised in the Southern suburbs of Sydney, Craig has been a finalist in numerous leading Australian art prizes. Using oil paint sparingly, Craig creates an almost water-colour effect in his paintings.
