Jetstar’s $1.95 Million Headache

In news that may come as a surprise to absolutely no one, budget airline Jetstar is under pressure to pay a $1.95 million fine for misleading customers over their rights regarding refunds. The ACCC has launched Federal Court proceedings against Jetstar who have admitted that its website said some fares were not refundable, and that consumers could only get a refund with a more expensive fare.
