Leading Lights: First 3D Map Explores Mysteries of the Milky Way

Professor Richard de Grijs is part of a team of astronomers from Macquarie University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences that have revealed for the first time the true shape of the galaxy that we call home. He discusses with host Sean Britten how a world first 3D map of the Milky Way may help in our understanding of dark matter, how the mapping was done, and where to next with this research.
