Levels of Trust in Australian Media

With the coronavirus pandemic leaving many Australians at home, the levels of consistent news consumption have risen across the country. Now more than ever it is crucial that we trust our news media outlets. But with some of this trust already broken, how can we restore it? And what influences mistrust in the media? A new study conducted by researchers at the Queensland University of Technology and the University of Canberra has uncovered just that. 

The Daily was joined by Caroline Fisher, an Assistant Professor in Journalism at the University of Canberra and one of the researchers that partook in this study to tell us more.
