Live Below The Line – Can you penny-pinch for poverty?

Could you live in extreme poverty? Hundreds of millions of children around the world live in poverty every day preventing them from developing and thriving and making them vulnerable to exploitation, abuse and discrimination. There is an organisation that is aiming to educate people about poverty and at the same time, prove that we can live ‘Below the Line’

Oaktree is a movement run by young people to end poverty for young people and they run an event each year called, ‘Live Below the Line’. For five days, starting this coming Monday the 2nd of May, your challenge is to eat and drink for $2 or less a day. Mitch caught up with the head of the campaign, Kevin Hawkins.
