On this week’s Local Artist Spotlight, Sean chats with Tom and Jayden from Ugly Mug.

Ugly Mug’s second EP, ‘II’, throws you right into the head-banging fuzz of energy that the band takes up to full force. Although they keep the release high-energy, easy for an audience to mosh to, Ugly Mug have found a balance – giving both the band and audience a chance for a breather, and channeling psychedelic and shoegazey vibes, à la The Verve.

Tom and Jayden reveal a little of the recording process and the bands that inspire their sound.
