Lostwave: H-Bomb Update
In this latest edition of Lostwave, we give an update on one of the most compelling songs we’ve covered: H-Bomb!
Back in October 2024, Nelson and Cody discussed the song H-Bomb, a 1950s rockabilly song whose artist is unidentified. Since then, a case has been made that the mystery singer could be Dwight Pullen, an Alabama singer who died in 1961 at 30 years old. Nelson and Cody chat about how Dwight’s time in the navy and the historical context of the day could build a case for him being H-Bomb’s mystery singer. Nelson and Cody also attempt to compare the singer of H-Bomb to one of Dwight’s songs, Tight Slacks.
