How Manuka honey can prevent wound infection

Before heading to the doctors, what if you had something in your home that could stop the spread of infection?

A research team from the ithree institute at the University of Technology Sydney are undertaking a study looking at the antibacterial properties of Manuka honey.

The use of honey to treat wound infections dates back to the Egyptians, but this new study could help in finding natural solutions to combat the current antibiotic resistance crisis.
