Megan Wilding Talks “A Little Piece of Ash”

Megan Wilding has had a busy career in theatre since she graduated from the WA Academy of performing arts in 2015. Now, she’s stepping out and putting on her own original production: “A Little Piece of Ash”, a tale of the grief and loss of the modern Aboriginal woman.

Not only did she write the play – she is acting in it, and directing it too!

The play tells a semi-autobiographical tale about a girl who loses her Mum – but is stuck with her spirit.

In spite of the grim narrative, the play is described by Wilding as “kind of fun”.

The play is running from the 12th to the 27th of April and the Kings Cross Theatre. Tickets can be booked here: http://www.kingsxtheatre.com/ash
