What might the expansion of Netflix mean for Australia’s local media?

Just last week, the CEO of Netflix Reed Hastings announced that the popular streaming website will now be available in another 130 countries, expanding Netflix’s already wide reach even further.

It seems that Netflix is now expanding exponentially, so how has this changed our viewing habits, and what might this mean for Australia’s local media?
