44,000 young people are sleeping on the streets. This paints a picture of a national crisis that costs the economy $626 million every year. And young people who have experienced a probable mental illness are 3.5 times more likely to have spent time away from home, or have an unsafe place to sleep. Charity Mission Australia just yesterday released a new report identifying the facts and figures of Youth Homelessness.
