We’ve all been told before; turn your music down, it’s going to damage your ears. However, what if it’s not just volume that damages our ability to hear, but the quality of music we are listening too as well?

MP3 files allow us to store and listen to 1000s of songs on our mobile devices, making music accessible wherever we go. However, MP3s are what is referred to as ‘compressed’ music.
