Since the beginning of Myanmar’s military coup on 1 February, they have been increasing its use of force, therefore, more than 550 civilians are killed in this violent crackdown including 46 children. Last Sunday was considered the most brutal and violent day until now as around 100 people were killed in one day. The youngest victim known is a six years old girl who was shot as she ran into her father’s arms. After this action, Rights group Save the Children said that it was “horrified” by this girl’s death and stressed that those innocent victim’s safety must be prioritised and protected under all circumstances.
