We need a comprehensive housing approach to deal with heatwaves

Recent heatwaves across the country have caused alarming temperature spikes, creating a catastrophic fire danger over the previous weekend. New South Wales was the hottest place on Earth, and consequently affected many homes. With high temperatures likely in the future, the design of housing needs to consider powerful spikes in temperature. In regards to government action, a division of power within the government amongst housing responsibilities also poses a problem. To talk about this, we spoke to Senior Research fellow at Queensland University of Technology, Dr. Wendy Miller. Wendy good morning.
