New Study Shows The Link Between Helicopter Parenting and Behavioural Problems

A new study from the Developmental Psychology Journal has found a new link between helicopter parenting and the behavioural problems among kids, including depression, anxiety and loneliness. For those who are not familiar with the term, helicopter parenting is when a parent pays extremely close attention to a child’s experience, especially around schooling, to the point where they hover above them to see how they’re performing. So how ethical is helicopter parenting and should they try it anyway?
