No eco cabins in Cooloola National Park: community

Cooloola is a small community located around 250kms north of Brisbane.

The Queensland government is in the spotlight again after the Cooloola community and First Nations people are protesting against the State’s proposed construction of eco-tourism cabins in the Cooloola National Park.

Locals say the development is an attempt to commercialise nature.
